Gua Sha Sculpting & Acupressure Face Lift
Gua Sha is a traditional East Asian & Chinese technique used to invite well-being, circulation and remove stagnant toxin build-up in the body. It is used gently on the skin of the face. Gua means scrape and Sha means sand, and this practice has been used for thousands of years.
The stroke pattern used awakens the meridian lines to activate the body's natural abilities.
For the skin it encourages collagen production. It sculps and tones the face shape, allowing inflammation to drain and muscles to become free of tension- allowing them to do their supportive jobs properly.
It also helps the skin return to its most radiant state as circulation is increases, sending nutrients to areas that may have been starved due to blockage.

Acupressure is Traditional Chinese Medicine that has been around for over 5000 years.
Acupressure targets pressure points on the face that realign the meridians or energy channels. Facial Acupressure points stimulate the nervous system and the brain, increasing circulation which neutralize free radicals. Free radicals can cause damage to the skin and premature aging.
Facial Acupressure increases collagen production which helps repair the skin reducing fine lines, wrinkles and firms sagging skin.

Appointment reservations are planned to allow the correct time for each treatment, it's important to be punctual.
​
I require a 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Remember your appointments as a courtesy, confirmation is sent in advance via email or text.
Due to unfortunate increase in "no-shows" and last min cancellations, a credit card is required to hold your first reservation with a $20 Deposit (non-refundable). If last minute rescheduling or cancellation of your appointment occurs, or if you fail to show up for your scheduled appointment, Stellar Esthetics reserves the right to charge a fee to your credit card.

Cancellation Fees are as follows:

24-Hours or more advance notice = NO FEE
Less that 24-hours' notice = 30% of reserved service fee
No notice given (No show) is =100% of service fee or $30 whichever is greater.

If you are 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment time, I may not be able to provide the full service but will perform an abbreviated service at the full price. More than 15 minutes late is considered a last min cancellation/reschedule and above fee will apply.

How long do eyelash extensions last?
Depending on aftercare and daily routines, eyelash extensions last 2-3 weeks.
Is Dermaplane painful?
No, when done properly, dermaplaing is painless.
in fact, many clients find this treatment to have a soothing effect as the skin is rythmically swept in short, gentle strokes.
Can you have an allergic reaction to the lash adhesive?
Yes, if you experience res swollen eyes after a lash session, please contact me immediately to discuss proper care.
Does hair grow back thicker after a dermaplane facial?
Absolutely not! Dermaplane is a deep exfoliation removing up to two weeks of dead skin cell buildup along with removing peach fuzz. Hair grows back normally.
Why did I break out after a facial?
Our skins external way to detoxify, ridding itself of toxins and impurities may cause minor breakouts. Do not worry this is normal.
